Race Day Logistics
ALL PACKET PICKUP WILL TAKE PLACE ON RACE DAY FROM 6:10AM-7:45AM.
PARKING: All participants must park at Clay County High School. Shuttle buses will transport you to and from the start/finish line. (Address: 1 Panther Drive Clay, WV 25043). The last shuttle for the start line will leave the high school at 7:45AM.
SHUTTLES: Park at Clay County High School, collect your bib number, and take a shuttle to the start/finish line. We will have two busses shuttling participants all day to/from Clay County High School and The Trailhead (6AM-3PM).
START/FINISH LINE UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were forced to relocate our start/finish line this year. This change was not made lightly. However, the relocation is only a half mile from our original spot and eliminates the gravel section of the course
RACE: The Full/Half Marathon starts at 8AM. The 5K starts a 8:15AM. As you complete the race you will be given your finisher medal and race shirt. The official cutoff for all events is 7 hours.
POST RACE: Enjoy the post-race atmosphere. When ready, take the shuttle back to Clay County High School. Awards will be presented once confirmed with the timers as official.
FACILITIES: Bathrooms will be available at Clay County High School before you hop on the shuttle. In addition, port-a-potties will be available at the start/finish line.
REFRESHMENTS: We will provide a variety of refreshments and drinks at the finish line.
